I completed this painting a couple of months ago after re-working it several times. I finally got it the way I wanted and decided to leave it alone! The title is "Cameo" and it is 20" X 16" oil on panel.
I just received my jury card in the mail and this painting has been accepted into the 81st Annual Hoosier Salon!
It will be hung in the Indiana State Museum for the month of August and has the potential to travel around the state for six months after that. To say I'm over the moon would be an understatement. This is my first juried entry into an exhibition of this size with an oil painting and now I want to work harder on my next painting!
