Thanks for the positive response to my painting.

Enzie, it will be a gift and surprise for my parents this summer when i take my holidays. John and Alexandra, I guess you could classify this as a happy accident. We were out on the front deck taking some family photos and this was the one that stood out to me. All that was needed was some cropping. There was never any intention that this was going to be used for a portrait, however once I viewed the pictures I new then I wanted to paint them as is. It's just a simple snapshot of my wonderful parents. Joan, thanks for reminding me as i forgot to mention some details. The painting itself it done in oil on canvas and measures 28" X 22". It, for me was a great learning experience for me to tackle this one and I am happy I did.
