Hello, all. I've been lurking and learning for all the time since I last posted. I've carved out a satisfying niche for myself painting pet portraits, knowing my strengths do not lie with subjects with only two legs.
(I flatter myself believing that I'll take the time to learn to properly paint people once I retire.)
Nonetheless, a recent return client wanted to be included in the painting. I held my breath, tried not to close my eyes, and this was the result.
The canvas measures 30" x 36", painted in oils.
