Lillian
Here is a portrait of a little girl from Alaska named Lillian. I had a lot of fund designing the elements of the painting and hope that you like it.

That's gorgeous, the design element really adds to the painting without overwhelming the little girl's delicacy. A lovely image of childhood.
How many hours did it take?

Margaret, it took me more hours than I care to admit to finish the painting! LOL
I actually started sometime while I was still working on my last commission of [URL=http://www.enzieshahmiri.com/jeune_mariee.html]Jeune Mari

Enzie,
I'm glad Garth brought this up from the "archives" because I had seen it but had forgotten to comment on it. For me, this portrait is an outstanding example of your work. There is an all-over quality of pattern that works well. There is no one element that appears over-worked. In fact, the relationships between all the elements have a playful feeling, with their general harmony and juxtapositions of pattern and texture. I think this is a very successful portrait.
