Three on Sunday

Hello! I painted this 14" x 11" oil today for my daughter's upcoming third birthday. I spent about two hours on it, using a limited palette of Transparent Oxide Red, Alizaron, Ultramarine, Viridian and White. I love it so far. Originally, I had planned to paint two litte teacups in front of the figure and to her right (our left). Would this effectively balance the values, or cause a distraction?

Any additional thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

PS - I made some changes and re-posted the pictures since my first post.
