- About Vangelis Zurnatjis
- Biography
- Born and raised in Greece. Studied Art History at Syracuse University (BFA) and University of Virginia (Masters, PhD). I practice painting since 1981. My professors at UVA, especially the famous David Summers encouraged me greatly to practice painting on the side of my studies, for it completes the theoretical knowledge of art. I've been painting in egg tempera, tempera grassa, and oils.
