My sculpture studio

Some beautiful studios in this section.
Thought I'd add mine. Nothing too special and hard to see in these tiny photos but this is just a room in my house converted to a studio.
We just replaced the floor with this wood veneer stuff and I think it turned out looking real purdy.

The little easel is just for placing some photos of my subject up close to my modeling stand. The rest of my resource photos (I use lots from all angles) are pinned to large cork boards that I now have up on that blank wall on the right side of the room. I also have my computer monitor handy so I can zoom in real close to the various photos.

The bottom picture is my new kiln in the garage (my second studio). Can't wait to use it as I am no longer limited by 18x18 dimensions for ceramic. It's about 28x28 in the interior. Found it slightly used on Craigslist, but unfortunately I was naive about electrical phases and it turns out it is not compatible with our home electricity (it's a Phase 3). I can purchase a converter kit for about $500 to change out all the coils and electrical parts to be a phase 1 kiln. Lesson learned. Still, much cheaper than buying it new, plus got all the shelf furniture. lift kit, and downdraft vent. It's a beauty!

I particularly love the gigantic wall mirror. What a great idea!
