Greetings!

I run an open studio in downtown Washington DC. Here is a recent portrait sketch I did in three hours.

Here are the details if anyone is in the area and would like to join:

Open Studio - Figure Drawing (long pose)

Studio Thibodeaux hosts a nude model in long pose for 3 hours available for figure drawing or painting. Please bring your own drawing board, easel, etc. as these will not be provided. New pose each week. No instruction. Portrait painting students may use this as make-up class or for extra practice.
When: Wednesday nights 7-10 p.m.
Where: Eye Street Studios, 443 Eye St. NW, Washington DC
(Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro)
Sarah to let you in the building between 6:30 and 7. Call 504-432-0049.
Dates: June 4, 11, (No class June 18), 25, July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30.
Cost: $10/session

Also, 8-week classes in Portrait Painting in oil start next week!

Sarah,
I like your quick study very much. If this is any indication of the level of work done in your open studios, then how I wish I could attend...it is so difficult to find a studio that offers what you offer here in my area.
Please post more works here, would love to see more.

Actually, my wife's parents live in Arlington, and we get out there about twice a year. If I can arrange time, I would love to come draw when we are out next if you are having a session.
