Casein Self Portrait
Here is a painting I started a couple years ago. Decided I wanted to finish it and free up a board it was attached too. I wanted to try casein paint so who better to experiment on than me. I decided to add some woodland art elements based off of Norval Morrisseau and some West Coast Haida art along with some of my own imagery. I thought the crow to be a interesting element as if it were trying to tell me something. The painting measures 30" x 16" and painted on watercolour paper.
