Nice color harmony to this one, Eileen. Very sweet expression, and good skin tones.
I can't comment on likeness, since no reference photo is given. There is some asymmetry, but that may be the way her face actually is.
Careful with the edges of the sleeves. They are not describing any roundness to the arms and the lines are somewhat distracting. You might consider what folds in the sleeves are necessary for describing a shape and what are superfluous, and get rid of the unneeded folds. Also, I am a bit puzzled as to why there is such a strong seam line on one side of the shirt, and none on the other.
Overall, however, this is a successful painting with an inherent sweetness to the subject that fits the colors chosen.

Julie, thank you for your comments. I see that asymmetry in the nose area, and will correct that, thank you for pointing it out. I agree with your observation about the sleeves and will work on that also.
I really appreciate your taking the time to comment.

I can see that you used a photo to do this portrait. I notice some drawing points that I would like to check with your refference.

Claudemir, I was able to do much of the painting from life. I babysit this little girl, and she watches her favorite television show for a half hour each day. I was able to work on the painting at that time, and I also worked from photos. I don't have permission from her parents to post the photos.
I would be interested in hearing the drawing issues that you have noticed, other than the forementioned ones. Thank you.

Hi Eileen,
I would like to check her cheeks, zigomas, eyes and eyebrows, everything relating to each other. But after you correct her nose we will be able to see it more clearly.

Ps. But there's no big deal. She looks very good.

Hi Eileen--
You might want to check her headband... on my monitor, the colors look uniformly bright and don't describe the curve of her head. The edge where her hair meets the background could be softened especially at the top of her head...
The skin tones are very nicely done and you've captured a sweetness about her.

Terri, thank you very much for your comments and suggestions. The headband was kind of an afterthought and I agree it could use more work. I appreciate hearing from you.
Claudemir, thank you for letting me know your observations. I will double check the areas you mentioned.
