Open Call for Portrait Artists
All portrait artists able to personally deliver (Feb. 3) and pick up (Feb. 27) selected entries may submit to the juried art show.

PROSPECTUS with submission guidelines and the FACES of WINTER SCHEDULE of EVENTS will be available in October, 2002. Email your request with complete name and postal mail address to Chairman, Michel Delafontaine: mdelafon@mindspring.com

Slides of portrait paintings and sculpture will be reviewed by CSOPA's selection committee in January. Postmark deadline, Monday, January 6, 2003. Judging for cash and ribbon awards by Ann Fader, Portrait Consultants, Inc., Westchester. Additional judge tba.

"Valentine" Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony: February 7, 2003, 6pm-8pm. All are invited to attend. Snacks and refreshments.

An exciting program of lectures and demonstrations will compliment the exhibition and will be open to the public for a small fee. Special guests include:

Karin Wells - "Creating Photo Studies for Classical Portraiture," a three-hour workshop.

Marvin Mattelson - Live Demonstration, and "Portraits Throughout History - Slide Tour of the Metropolitan Museum."

Jacob Munn - "Framing the Portrait - A Historical Perspective"

Carol Erdman - "How to Commission a Portrait."
