Thanks, Kimber! Studying with Marvin was like losing the scales on my eyes. He really teaches you how to "break down" a painting, see what is right and what is wrong and then he is able to explain how to make it better, without touching your canvas!!!

I came across this very strong portrait, too, this evening. She is so real, so alive. I am so impressed by the way you rendered her beauty as part of her humanness. There is a wonderful impartiality and clear-sighted honesty about this painting. It's magnificent, Patricia.
