I think that Thomasin has also picked up on the Loomis quality that I sense here - these have a forthright, fresh quality that is really appealing.

Thanks, Alex and Linda,
I guess it's not surprising, that quality - I grew up looking at my mom's old art how-to-draw books from that period. I never thought about a style, though - just put the charcoal to the paper. I try to capture what I see in the kids.
