Linda, here are two photos from the process.
My paintings don't always look nice like Garth's while in progress...
I have just corrected a few details narrowing the shoulders and the neck (he seemed a bit older than his age, now it's better). I also softened his eyebrows and altered the mouth slightly and declared it finished!

Ilaria,
Just saw this for the first time this morning. Beautiful job. This portrait has a lot of presence. Like Tom mentioned, it is confident and sensitive simultaneously. And I love that you got a great photo of him at your show wearing the same clothes.
