Hello from North Carolina!
I'm so glad to be a part of this forum! I am a graphic artist / illustrator that has recently rediscovered a passion for oil painting, portraiture in particular. In the past year I have committed to learn and paint as much as possible and have been fortunate to get connected with a group of artists in our community that is dedicated to working from life. Attached is a recent piece I painted in one of these open studios, along with a recent portrait of a friend's son.
I am looking forward to participating in this forum and am quite frankly in awe of the talent represented here. I have learned much from reading your posts.
I am also very excited to attend this weekend's PSOA Conference and meeting some of you face to face. I hope I can take it all in!
