And...Im looking at this on here thinking she could use some knuckles. That is a really tight shot of a small area - the painting is small....so...she maybe doesnt need knuckles. After all, she isn't going anywhere. BUT, I may just have to try and squeeze some in there.

Oh Kim, this one is so beautiful! The skin is so translucent and I love the pose. That passionate red background and the scrollwork give this a real Spanish flavor (well, that's my take on this).

I was going to post that this was my favorite of yours, but to tell you the truth, it's really hard to pick one. I so admire your work and the direction that it's going.

It is hard to pick a favourite, so I'm glad I don't have to. I'll just enjoy them all. Seems like you are destined to be called "a painter's painter", Kim. Congratulations. Janet

Powerful, Kim! I love everything about this one. . . the color, the texture in the skin, the ambiguity in the gesture. Gorgeous.

Hi Kimberly, What I like about this peice is what I like about about all of your work...Spirit. I always get a sense of Spirit in your work, I feel your figures have Souls, something few artists are able translate into thier work. If I had paid attention in shool I'd be able to say what I mean better than this, but a master sculptor used to call it "Touch", and you have it.

I consider creative work to be a spiritual practice. Wheather it is for you or not, I don't know, but I see something more than just talent when I see your work.

Blessings, Dave

Hey Kim,

Another great piece. Pretty soon, you'e gonna get tired of hearing that. Yeah Right! I love the colors used, like the purples and that red for the background. And to think, you're only going to get better.

Beautiful piece, Kim. Love the expression on her face and the hands are beautifully rendered. The emotions you paint are strong, I love that about your work.
