Specifically, the problem is/was a security hole in a particular type of software called PHP. This is the software used for the forum. Whenever hackers find a security hole like this, they like to jump in a make a mess of things. Consequently, my isp turned off the upload capability through the attachment option. He's making queries regarding whether it's safe to turn back on again, but until we get answers, I'm at his mercy.

I've loaded your new image up to the server for you:

Karin, I very much like the overall warmth you've brought into the background -- the column, trees, and sky -- compared to the earlier posted image, in which the blue/gray coolness was a quality that I found somewhat difficult to reconcile with the beautiful figures, even in compositional contrast. You've eased a lot of the edgework, too, and I think the overall effect of the modifications is as stunningly effective and lovely as the original was amazing in itself.

Steven

Beautiful

Karin,
I love this painting. Is it hard for you to part with your paintings, especially one as large as this one?

In the beginning it was hard to part with "my children"....but, thank heavens, I quickly outgrew that kind of thinking.
