Well, Critiques are necessary for growth..




But so are "pats on the back".

I have learned more on this forum in 2 mos. than I have in 8 years of trial and error, and I appreciate the critiques more than anyone could know. However, if it weren't for the "pats on the back" from these accomplished artists, coupled with their suggestions and opinions about how to improve my work Im afraid I would be very discouraged. In my opinion, and it is just MY opinion. One is as important as the other. With that said, I want to thank the individuals on this board that have given me encouragement I need to better myself as an artist.
