Whew! A lot to digest! Thanks, Michael Fournier and Michael Georges. By the way, I already have a CD writer for my Mac; at least that's one thing I won't need. I figured I'd want to keep those files somewhere safe, and off my hard drive.

The information on Scantip.com sounded very much like what you were saying Michael and they were recommended by Microtek, a company that is respected in terms of scanners.
