Theater Gel Jerry

This is a very quick pastel I painted as a demo for my portrait class. We have been using theater gel to explore different lighting situations.

It is so much fun working with this gel. The flesh tones become so saturated that it pushes the values close together and the intensity of the color to the extreme.

Just thought I would share.
