Sothwest Art Magazine

OK, here I go with some blatant self promotion, I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. I'm a featured artist in the November issue of Southwest Art magazine. It's not on newsstands quite yet, but I received an advanced copy ...and I'm really there. It's a well written article by Devon Jackson, some of the paintings are a little too dark in reproduction (but what the heck?) and I look like a crazed psychopath in my picture, but who cares!

The owners of the two galleries I'm represented by (those lovely people) also placed adds showing my work so, by gosh, I feel like I've died and gone to heaven.

Oh, boy, that IS exciting! I will look forward to getting my copy.

Photo? Some of my best friends are crazed psychopaths, bless their little hearts.

Wow, Pam, that is exciting! I can't wait to see it. Whenever I open an art magazine and see an article about the work of someone I know, it's such a thrill. You must be counting the days.

Pam, this is terrific news, I am so happy for you! What a great boost to your career this is and how exciting that your fine work is going to get better recognition. Southwest Art is doing a killer job at promoting realist painters and I'm delighted that you're one of them!

Thanks, thanks, thanks all of you. My family will have to come a scrape me off the ceiling. I'm in such a good mood I may not yell at them for a month.

I guess all psychopaths are crazed, but not all crazies are psychopaths. To be honest I merely look dorky in my picture. Chris, I would like to meet some of your friends, I could do crazed psychpaths in cafes. Oh geez, I'm giddy.

I am really happy to be in contact with such an accomplished bunch of successful artists, a lot of whom happen to be women. It's inspiring, and a charge to get hearty congratulations before going back to the solitary occupation of painting.
