New Cecilia Beaux book

I was recently at the High Museum in Atlanta, enjoying (for the second time and not the last!) the Cecilia Beaux exhibit. Wonderful show!

For those who cannot make this exhibit, there is a book that is worth the cost. 9 x 11.5 inch hardbound book, 194 pages, with 87 color reproductions (the entire color catalog of the exhibition), plus many other color reproductions disbursed throughout. Lots of information on the artist, plus an interesting section on the picture frames she used and the framing styles of the times. The back cover is entirely that wonderful painting "Man with the Cat".

Thank you, Julie! I know it will eventually be available here, at PAFA, but now that I see it, I have to have it! Brain food! I noticed Sargent and Sorolla was also listed n the same bunch on Amazon, reminding me of another exhibit I missed by a few miles. (I was in London at the Tate Britian with Ilaria, trying to find the Sargents that were supposed to be there!).
