Edit -
Since posting this, I've decided to name it 'Fragile'.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Thanks for looking.

Kim, the facial expression is incredible! That's what really jumped out at me when I first saw this. I am just loving the way you are using color like a mosaic to model the planes of the face. And you've really caught something in her posture that is hard to define. I like the way the title helps explain, but doesn't reduce the painting to a simplified emotion. In fact it raises more questions.

Kim, I agree with Alex about the expression - that ambiguity, maybe even fear. The whole painting becomes complicated and takes it out of the "generic studio nude" catagory. There are lots of very nice techincal aspects to this, too. It's wonderful... and WOW are you productive!

Kim,
I really like what you have going on here! Great composition with the wrought iron - I think of this kind of design as classic Rockwellian - beautful use of negative spaces too!

Hi Kim,
I really like what you've been doing with your backgrounds lately. And her expression is priceless. I almost feel uncomfortable looking at her, like I've walked in on a very private moment. You are blowing me away!

Thank you folks - I appreciate the kind comments!
I have a thing for those grills on the wall...for some reason. This is my second one using them, I have another painting using them, if I get back to it. And more ideas in my head. I havent figured out where the appeal is exactly yet, they are challenging to do.
Yeah, that look on her face.... I knew I wanted to paint it. For me personally, there are so many things that could be read into that look. Alex, I am glad the title creates more questions because I didnt want to hit anyone over the head with how I read her look. I was hoping to leave some wiggle room for others reactions to it.
