I have just posted a page of antique plates that were painted by a famous porcelain artist, Franz B. Aulich. He, Franz Bischoff, and George Leukauff are some of the most famous of the past century. These are not portraits but I will post some porcelain portraits later on. The reason I am posting this is because I often recieve accolades from fine artists on my "hobby craft". This is an example of "fine art" if ever I have seen any. And Bischoff is even better than Aulich. This is an attempt to educate those that don't understand this very hard and very rewarding medium called porcelain art.
Also, I would encourage anyone that is a portrait painter to call me and join us in Colorado this summer in a free portrait seminar. I have one spot left. It will be the 21st through the 24th of July in Cuchara, Colorado. The only cost will be around $35. per night to help pay the cost of the condo and or cabin. Or you may take your own camper or get your own place to stay. I do this to help encourage portrait painting and hope that this will promote growth in knowledge and in teachers who can then teach it to others.
