Self Portrait Diptych

Hello Strokes of Genius,

Here's the final on the idea I had for my self portrait. Again, portraying as a sense of awareness me coming from a near death mode as an artist ....to a firm resolve in my future efforts.

Thanks for looking.

Wow, these really sock you in the face. Technically brilliant and emotionally intense. I can't say that I would want these on my bedroom wall, but I'm reasonably sure that wasn't your intention.

Hi Geary,

Your portraits are very cool indeed. Very introspective with a lot of shock value. As someone close to me once said "The larger lesson here... goes to the enjoyment of life and the living of it to the fullest". Hard to always remember, but your portraits made me think of it again.

This pair knocks my socks off. I am serious - so very powerful.

How will you mount/frame/present them?

Laura: Haha....you're right on....I wouldn't mount these in my OWN bedroom walls! WAY too intense. I had a hard enough time emotionally to just finish them! Hahaha....Whew....that one made me laugh right out loud! Point taken Laura....and I know you understand. ;0 Thank you!

Holly: Amen to that one.....and I'm blown out that this is bringing such emotion.....as was intended. Much thanks.

Chris: Thanks for saying that Chris! Better get those socks back on.....winter's here! I plan on matting these in black with medium to dark gray cores....framed in smooth deep dark burgundy 20x16 frames.

Way to go man. They're practically identical but each says something so different. Excellent.

What an emotional impact these have just viewing them on my screen. I can imagine how powerful they are to view in person.

Excellent!
