Danielle acrylic study
I painting this 7" x 5" acrylic study from a photo while conducting an art session for this little girl (age 6) and her sister, Nicole (8). They created some interesting work! Anyway, I found it impossible to concentrate on my own painting, but hoped to capture some of the light patterns from the garden where the photo had been taken earlier that day. The immediacy of acrylic fascinates me. It isn't long before they dry up and I miss my oils! I was forced to think "color" more than "form."
