Grate idea for a post Garth! I especially like the photos. I quite enjoyed the warm California weather while visiting the US some years ago. Spent two years traveling the US and enjoyed every moment. While visiting France the coastal town La Rachel where Bouguereau spent time and the hillsides near San Trope were my favorites. Now, I live in relatively small town near Bad Homburg near Frankfurt and love it when it snows. A month ago or so when we had our first snow around 11 p.m. I dressed my wife and we went out for a walk. Even though she did not like the idea at first and I practically had to dress her she later admitted that it was a grate idea and that she was glad that we went out.
Allen, I love the photos of the snowbound bicycle! Could you send or post some more shots of it and or of other such snow covered small but interesting items. Thanx!

Beth,
I am unsure of your request. Do you want the snow covered car, just the snow, or just a companion to your pet Mercedes ("wolf wolf"!)? Please explain. I bet your woods are beautiful right now. For what ever it's worth, I have removed the snow from the car.

Perfect, then I'll be able to see out of the windshield!
My poor Sadie only gets in the back of the Pilot now.

Are you quite sure of your wishes, Beth?
It looked much better at age 20 than it does now. 290 months/ 252,000 miles. Bottom of the Line.

Hi Mischa,
May I belatedly welcome you to the Portrait Artist Forum. I can see already that you are a valuable member here, by your post contributions.
Back to topic:
Allan and Mischa, is it true that you are getting the after effects of our weekend Level 3 Nor'easter Blizzard? That's fascinating. I hope your weather does not get too severe. Our streets are all melted and clear now.

We've actually had a laughably mild winter up here (last 2 broke all records (think minus 32 with the windchill)). But that means lots of ice.

welcome to the forum, I hope that you will have fun and maybe learn a few tricks in here.
I have tried to visit your site but had no luck, I will try again later. The painting in your introduction is very fine.
I have no other shots with the bicycle, but here comes some other of my everyday views.
Garth,
Up until now we have had frost mostly but we expect thaw in the weekend when your front is expected to ashore Denmark.

Great shots Allan and Janet! We're hunkering down here for our round of severe weather. Yesterday it was 53 degrees outside, I was actually doing some yard work. Today snow, wind, and about 8 degrees. Tomorrow maybe 10" more and blizzard conditions by late afternoon. Saturday, -25 degrees with the wind chill. I have all the paint I need, lots of chocolate, and about 20 panels ready to paint. The cupboard is full of food and lots of wood for the fireplace. This is my kind of weather!
