This is beautiful!
Isn't it too bad we can't charge our children for these considering they will own them later?

Beth,
This is a beautiful painting! I love the colors and the face is very beautifully rendered. The whole mood is very pleasant, really invites one to rest on the painting!! I was wondering what you had been up to lately since I haven't noticed any paintings from you since school started. I see you have been very busy!!
I am so impressed with your progress. Keep showing us your works...

Thank you all very much again, it is especially gratifying to hear good things from those you admire most.
There is a thread called "Production" which I believe Tim started. I can't remember who posted about going through days of not wanting to paint, but I am so the opposite - it is all I want to do. I paint when I am sick, when there is a holiday, for my birthday my family gave me a Sunday of nothing but painting. I remember Sharon asking me if my family ever ate or had clean clothes. I won't answer that.

Yes, it's beautiful
Beth,
Your painting is almost as lovely as your pride and joy subject. She is a lucky girl to have you to paint her - as all your clients are as well.
Beautiful color scheme as Sharon mentioned - you pulled it off fantastically. She has a good eye, that Sharon!
The skin color is magnifique!

Thanks Denise! After reading some of the subjects, I feel I should mention not meaning to ruffle any feathers that this is totally cad free!
Patricia you asked where I had been. I think after all my studying last summer I dove in over my head at first with a bunch of things I had learned swirling through my mind, so I had to take some time and paint a ton to get it to work right for me. I picked up so much - Bill's dance, and eye opening exercises to really see form and Marvin's general everything. I love to paint with Marvin's palette and use more of a painterly style like Bill

Wow, Beth. She looks just like you. When I saw "15 again" I thought you had done a self portrait from an old photo.
Ver nice work.
Keep it up. Who needs clean laundry?

Check with your accountant. Maybe we can pay them. As a business expense

Put simply, I'm inspired, Beth. Everyone has commented that this is your best yet. I'm curious to know that the quality of emotions attached to the subject plays the most important role in a winner! This maybe is why artists before us did their best work not just because they were available.

Ngaire you really caught this, she was sick this fall and laid up for a long time. So I just can't paint her enough!
