Thanks Linda. The website for the Archibald prize is www.thearchibaldprize.com.au
I'd be interested in your comments on the finalists and the winner. Quite a variety hey.

Welcome Pamela!

You have some lively, engaging portraits here, very competently painted and quite refreshing. It is good to have you among us for our collective enrichment, and I look forward to more of your works.

Best,

Garth

Hi Pamela! Your work is beautiful, I am nuts over the one with the children. I can't wait to see more.

Thank you very much Mary. I'm doing one with three children in it for their grandmother. It's my first with three all together and a really big challenge as the tones are very subtle. It's nearly finished. I'll send a photo soon for everyone's critique and I'm really nervous about that, but I've been really encouraged by the comments I have received. Anyway what counts is that the grandmother is happy with the progress and has gladly made the payments. I'm also having a solo exhibition in February for all my children under two years of age with the one you liked with the two children as the center piece. The title of the exhibition is "Innocence" as it depicts situations that are entirely innocent with babies and tiny children and reminds us that the world has lost a lot of its innocence far too soon.
