Hi Chris,
It's been awhile since I've ventured into SOG "new posts" section (new business and website).....just had to comment on this piece that just STOPPED me in my tracks, thank God.........to say how I particularly love the warm reds in the hair and how it makes the hair so vibrant it almost throws off an odor through my display.
And those reds poppin in on top ot the cheeks really make her come to life as well. Of course, that's what I notice every time about your work.....the almost electric realism coming through those gorgeous loose-but-accurately-drawn strokes of yours.

I'll have to agree with the rest here, Chris.
Your color treatment is fantastic. I notice a big difference in your paintings and the paintings of those who are still trying to master the color palette in that the colors here are bold and distinct. Most beginners I see tend to muddy the painting until it ends up with not much variation of hue, contrast, or intensity. Love your work.

Many, many thanks to you all.
Here's a close-up of the hair, it's really a riot of colors and temperatures

Congratulations on a wonderful painting. When I saw this I was floored with the wonderful rich colors you used - the dress, hair - really a feast for the eyes.

Wonderful! And unmistakable as your work. Can you post face and hand closeups? What is the size of the piece?

Congratulations on another gorgeous one! I'd like to see close-ups of the hands also.

Another stunning portrait, Chris. Your use of diagonals for eye direction works wonderfully. Also, her warm skin tones and dress patterns complement the natural green background very well. Great color harmony throughout.

Beautiful Chris!
Dear Chris,
This is beautiful, just amazing! Every aspect of this painting is beautiful and seamless. I look forward to seeing close-ups too.
