Valerie,

My fault for not being clear in my post above. I shot this photograph of the painting under skylights (which are in fact not directly overhead but on a 45 degree angle in the ceiling. The sun is filtered and hits the painting at an oblique angle.). I photographed my sister about 6 feet from a big bay window, lots of sunlight coming in directly from the side.

Just wonderful Linda! I see your family just keeps better looking. She must feel this is such a treasure and is wondering why she waited so long!
