Eshal - A little girl and her dog

This is http://enzieshahmiri.com/Eshal.html Eshal the little sister of http://enzieshahmiri.com/amal.html Amal, whose portrait I had done a while back. This one was painted on a 8x10 inch panel and is finally dry enough to be shipped to Pakistan.

My procedure from start to finish can be viewed on my blog

Enzie,
This is so sweet. I really love your distinctive style, the mark of a good artist! Her expression is so dear, bet mom and dad will love it. Let us know, ok?!
Great job.

Enzie, this is a very inventive use of difficult references. Frankly, even though I looked at your process in your blog, I'm still amazed you put it all together. Very nice composition, too.

Dear Pat and Alex, thank you both!

The reference did have a lot to be desired, but on the positive side it gives me the excuse to be creative and thereby have artistic freedom to play around with composition and create some sort of narrative. I am happy to hear that you think it turned out nice.

Thank you both so much for taking the time to comment!
