Just bought myself one of these linen canvases after being severely told off by Sharon Knettell about using that tacky stuff, cotton canvas, for painting on.
The colour of the clear-primed linen is so lovely I think I might just frame it as it is.

Thanks! LOL, I'd like to wallpaper my studio in the stuff, it's so pretty.
John, here's a close up of the weave - I'd say it's in between -not the regular, mechanical pattern of lots of prestretched stuff, but not quite as irregular as much of the Belgian linen. Fewer slubs, though.
