[QUOTE

Can you tell me the name of the manufacturer of the Rose Gray and the Violet Gray paint you used?[/QUOTE]

Thank you, Michelle

The manufacturer of the paints is Holbein. These are not only terrific grayed colors but inexpensive as well. Dick Blick is selling them for $5.08 a 40ml tube. They have some other unique colors as well. Green Grey and Horizon Blue look like they have potential. I have a friend who uses Holbien almost exclusively and her pallet looks like a candy counter.

I learned about Rose Grey from this forum. I believe the topic is "Rose Grey"

Vianna, just today I spotted one of your paintings that made it into the show at Scottsdale Artists School. You have a wonderful and very individual color sense - it really is a standout and the soft freshness is lovely. This one here is a standout portrait as well - you have lots of fans, including me!

Wow, Thank you Linda for your kind words. I'm glad you got to that show, I'm guessing there is some great work there. I usually enter only local shows but I have decided its better to get rejected from prestigous shows than small local ones.

I will be doing a larger painting of the girl that is in the Scottsdale show. She is a great subject and wonderful to paint. She has the prettiest skin color of anyone I have ever worked on.

Thank you again.
