I'm overwhelmed by the compliments! Thank you, all! I've received many more compliments through email that are not posted here. I certainly didn't expect such a response.

In actuality, I made an announcement not for compliments but because so many have asked in the past "why doesn't Dan Greene have a website." Ok, ok, I'll take the compliments too.

If you wanted to let Mr. Greene know what you think of his site, I'm sure he'd be pleased to receive an email to know that people are looking.

I was VERY excited to find out a website had been built for Mr. Greene. His pastel works are amazing! Along with your web-designing!

Lesson presented

Many of us out here are left to our own devices. For various reasons we have not been able to connect with either a formal art education, or the opportunity to attend workshops. For this reason it is essential that we recognize a valuable lesson when it is presented.

Forty examples of: simplicity of design, complexity of design, bold use of color, modest color schemes, paintings large and small, and exquisite composition. No doubt some are more perfect than others, but for me, they are all a wonderful gift from a great artist, and arranged and presented by a skilled web designer.

The lesson is here to be used whenever our schedule allows, whenever we are ready to realize and take advantage of it

Wonderful site!

Thank you for telling us about this wonderful site that you've created. I know I am just another hand clap but because I am desperately searching for more information on how to improve my work, I will be studying this site often and hope to perhaps get one of his videos. I echo the others in that you have done a fantastic job with the site, it loads so quickly for this poor dial up person. You have celebrated his work, his instruction, and his life with the greatest of respect that is due. Thank you!

Dianne

Once again, thank you all. Honestly, my intent was to let those who are interested know that Mr. Greene now has a site since so many have asked - I was not seeking accolades for my design, but they are certainly appreciated.
