Portrait of Dana




Hello all,

I just finished this little while ago. It is titled 'dana', about 14 x 18" on light gray Stonehenge paper. This was a difficult one trying to decide when to finish. I think I "finished" it three times before I continued working on it. It felt unbalanced the couple of times I thought it was done, so I kept at it until the point you see now. I'm open to suggestions if anyone disagrees. Thanks.

ps. The closeup is very close to paper color and contrast.

This is beautiful. You can really feel her and the space she takes up, there's volume, and personality, emotion, everything one would want to see in a portrait. You are true to your subject, which makes you a very inspiring artist!!!
