Michael, another tip or two that might help. Look at the area you want to draw as a whole. Stop and absorb it before you even draw a line. Consider each line before you put it down. Go a lot more slowly and mindfully.

This may seem silly but this helped me when I first had to do figure demos at RISD. Talk about terrified. I found it helped me to slow down and draw with more consideration rather than rushing through.

I made less, more accurate lines.
