Bozidar - Acrylic Portrait
I have not really completed anything recently. I started this one a few months back and finally decided this weekend to complete it. It is a small 16" by 10" Acrylic painting done on gessoed alupanel. I really wasn't sure how I was going to approach Acrylic but I new I wanted to again attempt it. I had tried Acrylic in the past but was never satisfied and always ended up painting oil over them. With a bit of patience I finally was able to discover how workable and convenient Acrylic can be. Now that I have a technique I can use and expand upon, I now see other possibilities for new paintings. 2 weeks ago I started a gouache painting of the same subject and have been getting positive results so far. I will post once finished. I hope you all enjoy it.
