Heavenly brushes

Anyone out there ever daydream about what it will be like to paint in heaven? I do. Usually when my brushes are doing what I don't want them to do. (Couldn't be the artist could it?)

I imagine that I will be painting and when the brush doesn't quite have the right point, I just "think it" and the point is just perfect. Or sometimes when the bristles are a little too stiff or too long or too short and I frantically search my brush drawer for the perfect length that is a little softer, but not too soft, and of course I can never find the perfect brush.

Then I think that in heaven I will imagine the brush and ta-dah I will suddenly be painting with just the right length, and not too soft, and not too stiff but just right! I will simply THINK my heavenly brush and it will be there. Best of all I won't even have to change brushes, because as I paint the brush will just be what it needs to be.

Wouldn't it be grand to never anguish over my brushes again.
