I started out attempting to paint my granddaughter from life. She sat for me for two sessions. Unfortunately she didn't wear the same clothing the second time her mother brought her and she didn't sit still whatsovever. I had taken a snapshot of her in this, one of her favorite dresses a couple of days before. She was really looking forward to a portrait and I just couldn't resist using the photo since the sittings didn't work. Comments are always welcomed when I post. I feel I am still new to portraiture.
