I plumped for the US version because, even though it's a bit more expensive, it does have some good material on approaches for copying the drawings and an excellent description of how to work sight size. I have found those sections to be pretty useful.

Ilaria, if you like I'll see if I can get some readable scans done of those pages for you. I started out on the first plates without bothering to read them, and must admit I made some pretty daft mistakes

I'm going to have to break the spine on mine too I think. It's going to hurt after paying so much for the book, but the lazer copies I've had done so far have distortion round the edges because the book is too thick to lay flat on the scanner. Thankfully the binding is so poorly done that the book is starting to fall apart all on it's own.
