I am so very grateful and very thankful that you all take the time to log on here regularly in this forum. I have really learnt alot of great tips here, from artists with all different levels of experience who share a common bond.

This bond of compassion and generosity to each other has overwhelmed me ever since I joined last year, where strangers out side of cyber space can be united by their love for portraiture. This compassion has strengthened my faith in human nature in these bumpy times. Compassion that is mostly being translated only through our keyboard conversations with a few of the lucky ones meeting up with each other in person. What a buzz that must feel like and to see each others work in person, Wow... what an experience that must be. I am amazed at the wealth of talent here on SOG.

Thank you Cynthia for managing it all, thanks to all on the board and thanks to all moderators and members for doing what they do best.

Secondly, a bond of respect for each others individualism, their development and expereince. We share these times together across cultures, languages and oceans but joined at the hip from our deep love for creativity in this exciting and challenging vocation that we all are immersing ourselves in. It is where some of us are now swimming graciously in the tides of fully fledged careers, others nearly drowning in the complexities with daily tests given to us to keep us mentally challenged I'm convinced or even some trying to play catch up for lost time. The rest I think could be here just enjoying the ride not knowing where it may take them.

Overall, SOG where would I be without you all. I would like to wish every one here a very Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones, safe travels and I hope 2006 brings you all your desires you wish for with a few nice surprises thrown in to top the year off for you all.
