Hi Tony,
This is all new to me too. I know how you feel because I feel the same. While I am not particularly surprised about you being selected as a finalist, I however, am surprised about being a competition finalist as well.
I think to clarify things,
thirteen top finalists were chosen, rather than just
ten, and while it does not sound as good, I believe we should say we are in the
Top 13, instead of Top 10. Never-the-less, it is amazing to be a Top Finalist, no matter what the number of artists selected for this catagory.
I am looking forward to meeting you, and seeing
your winning painting.
