Brave New World - The Coolwalker

Aldous Huxley would be proud.

Lately I have been paying more attention to the new digital camera market. In fact I have put a deposit down on the Nikon D70 slr.

I noticed today that one of the accessories offered for this camera is the Nikon Coolwalker MSV-01. You can read for yourself what this amazing gadget is up to but for starters it fits in your hand, has it's own video playback screen, stores movies and has a storage capacity of 30GB! According to the blurp that means that it can store up to 10,000 JPEG fine images! You can hook it directly to the printer (no PC required), to the PC, or to your TV. I has it's own remote control.

Coolwalker indeed. This gadget is not yet on the market nor is it priced. My only question is - how can I not own one of these? Well, I can think of only one reason, if it's price tag matches it's gigabyte capacity.
