Anniversary portrait WIP, help please
Second WIP. I know this is not up to the standards here, but I would really appreciate help with the background.
It has been a real trial for me to paint this pastel portrait. Wedding portraits are not my favourite!
I am not pleased with it at all (I know there are hundreds of faults, and many professionals here will look upon it with distain) even though the bride is more than happy with it.
I really could do with some help on the background - colour etc. I am a novice and although it is a commission, it is just as a favour for a friend but I need instruction and would be so grateful if anyone would be kind enough to give me advice. As I said I have taken it as far as I can go with my experience but would truly appreciate help with the background colours if anyone would be kind enough to spend the time replying.
