The Rev. Roasco Kornegay
This is an oil on canvas, 30" x 24". He is a pastor and I was commissioned by his church to paint his portrait. The unveiling ceremony was held recently with his family and friends coming in from all over the country (talk about pressure!). The church had his family/friends speak and later I conducted the unveiling. It was quite an honor and the portrait was well received. I took the time to print about 30-3"x5" cards with the printed portrait on one side and my information, along with the title on the other side. Family/friends were extremely appreciative of the cards and it also provided me with an additional means of advertising. The photo of the portrait below didn't pick up some of the wrinkles/additional values on his coat.
