Joe's kids

A friend of mine is a doll. He is a foster father to 7 children. We thought it would be a good idea to do a collage of all the kids, something different, and that shows their individual personalities. So, this was the result. I used Conte crayon as the medium.

You got nerve. It's a teensy weensy busy, Jennifer. I would not have used the black. But, the drawings look like they are fresh and lively. I cannot see the smaller images too well, but I see why you broke up the size. I think perhaps the linear background detracts a bit, but that is a subjective call. Very interesting and expressive work.

Thanks Lon! Yeah, I know what you mean about being "busy"! The client wanted me to put as many images as possible in this, and of course, he loved the end result. As long as he is happy, I am happy. It is interesting, that's for sure! But I wouldn't normally crowd the space like that in my regular work. Glad you find it interesting, too!
