Relocating
I'm happy to announce that my relocation to Eugene Oregon is now underway. What ?! you say, move from beautiful Florida to cold and rainy Oregon? YES that has been my dream. Now it's done. The house is sold, the car carrier people are on the way and I've seen my last hurricane for this life time.
Wish me luck.

Good luck Renae, from the cold Wisconsin woods. Where in Oregon are you headed? City or country?

Ah, Eugene - you will love it there. It is beautiful with warm summers, low humidity, and not nearly as much rain as along the coastline. Good luck, and be sure to support my old alma mater - go Ducks!

I've Arrived Alive
AAAHHHHHH,
What a place. I've been here one week today. I went to the Sea Lion Caves today. The drive out was magnificent as was the coast.
Heidi, you are right, Eugene is perfect for me. There are artists, galleries and plenty of art subjects. I've found the perfect townhouse up in the hills, and am waiting to close.
What an adventure. Monday, it's back to work, which is good. All of my worldly possessions are in a truck somewhere in the Midwest.
I've been dropping by coffee shops which are plentiful to catch an Internet connection here and there. But with all of this scenery, who has time to read e-mails.
Thank you for all of your good thoughts. I'll post again when I'm settled.
