That's a good point, never thought of it that way. I can't think of any one more qualified than yourself. You always say that you're not an artist, maybe yours is the perfect perspective.

This is a beautiful photo, with a wonderful range of midtones, and it will be a lovely painting. Yes, I would definitely lose the cross.
