I agree with the others that this piece gives me a strong sense of being there. I just can't get over the profound sense of depth you manage to invoke in both your indoor and outdoor paintings. Just amazing! I feel like I should be able to just reach into it.

Also, your ability to stay very painterly and yet portray a person in a super lifelike manner is wonderful. I'm am totally envious. I definitely have to hang around and study your work!

Lovely.

You've done a great job with a difficult issue, too: replacing one background with a completely different one, and with a challenging angled perspective too. I never would have thought she wasn't sitting in that spot to begin with.
